The 9th Annual SS Cape May features two afternoons of music business panels, workshops, clinics, mentoring, demo listening sessions and musical keynotes at the historic Congress Hall Hotel & Harrison Conference Center located in Cape May, NJ. Join us for the next conference and showcase March 18 & 19, 2016. Over 150 acts and artists will be selected from showcase submissions to participate in in night time showcases in 2016.
This event is designed for singer-songwriters of all genres and all those interested in the music industry. The focus will be on emerging and established talent, networking with each other, meeting and hearing directly from music industry professionals and members of the regional music community.
Cape May is the oldest seaside resort in the United States and stretches 20 miles into the Atlantic Ocean and below the Mason-Dixon line. Famous for its rich history of visitors and Victorian architecture, this National Historic Landmark City also hosts world renowned jazz festivals. Cape May will come alive in early Spring of 2015 during the annual singer-songwriter weekend.

Over 150 acts and artists are being selected from showcase submissions to participate in SS Cape May 2016. Showcase performances by selected acts and artists will be held on Friday, March 18th and Saturday, March 19th at the 15 participating showcase venues.
SS Cape May accepts electronic press kit submissions through our partners at Sonicbids.com, Reverbnation.com, through the US Mail with a Showcase Application and by using any music and/or social networking site that has the requirements through MissionTix.

Music industry professionals attend the annual Singer-Songwriter event as performers, speakers, mentors, and talent scouts. They share their experience and network with musicians, songwriters, students, and registrants during the afternoon educational seminars, mentoring sessions and then hang out for the nightly showcases performances. Networking with other musicians and industry professionals will provide the education, tools and contacts to help advance careers. If you interested in learning more about the music industry and the opportunities that exist this event if for you. If your in and acts or are an artists that submitted to showcase and paid a few you are already registered to participate even if not selected to showcase. Registration credentials are required to attend and participate in the conference but the showcase performances at night are all free and open to the public.

* All Acts that submit to showcase do not need to register. All showcasing acts and artists receive free Performer's Credentials and do not need to register for the conference.
