THE THIRD ANNUAL
SS Cape May celebrates new music and the participating artists with night time performances. Showcase venues in 2009 were Cabana's On The Beach, Carney's & The Other Room, Mad Better, Merion Inn, Ugly Mug, Jackson Mountain House, Pilto House, C- View Inn, Lucky Bones, and Congress Hall's Brown Room, Boiler Room and Grand Ballroom. The local community shares in the celebration of independent artists new music at the SS Cape May showcase venues. All showcase performances are Free and Open to the Public.
SHOWCASE SUBMISSIONS
Over 130 acts and artists will be selected from showcase submissions to participate in SS Cape May 2010. Showcase performances will be held on Friday, Match 26 and Saturday, March 27th at the Cape May venues.
SHOWCASE SELECTIONS UNDERWAY
DEADLINE HAS PASSED
SS Cape May accepts electronic press kit submissions through our partners at Sonicbids.com, through the US Mail with a Showcase Application and by using a music or social networking website with Acteva.com. 80 slots are reserved for Sonicbids members and 10 will be selected from submissions made prior to August 31, 2009.
Minimum requirements include 3 Original Songs, Hi-Res Photo, Bio Info, 2009 performance dates and recent press. The fee to submit is $20.00 and the Deadline has passed.
All selected artists receive laminated All Access Performer Credentials.
All acts that submit qualify for Alternate Credentials and
do not need to register for the event.
